STRONGER TOGETHER COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR - JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI

The American Lung Cancer Screening Initiative, in partnership with Genentech and the support of the Jackson Hinds Comprehensive Health Center and SheIs31:25, hosted the third official Stronger Together Community Health Fair! We are so grateful for all of our community partners who made this event possible. We had 500 attendees and 35 community organizations offering a wide variety of healthcare and health research resources, a mobile van from Jackson Hinds, staff from the Jackson Free Clinic, bouncy houses, arts and crafts for kids, and more! It was an event-filled day, from health resources and education to raffles, line dancing with the Blue Skyz, musical performances from SheIs31:25, and even a speech from Jackson Mayor John Horhn! Special shoutout to Dr. Justin Turner from the University of Mississippi Medical Center for his compassionate leadership!
