Screening awareness takes flight

In September 2025, ALCSI launched its airport campaign at St. Louis Lambert International Airport. Thirteen digital displays across baggage claim bring screening messages to travelers as they arrive and depart.

Suchir Ryali, Director of ALCSI’s Airport and Subway Signage Initiatives, helped bring the campaign to St. Louis. The airport serves more than 20 million travelers each year, giving the campaign a large public audience.

Lungs in Libraries

Aashrith Sai ThouthamFounder & Director, Lungs in Libraries

The campaign began at Dougherty County Public Library in Albany, Georgia, where Aashrith Sai Thoutham asked to display lung cancer screening information. Today, 465+ participating or committed library locations across 31 states place ALCSI flyers and QR codes on bulletin boards, doors, resource tables, and digital screens. Visitors can read about screening and call 1-844-YES-LUNG for help taking the next step.

The displays have generated more than 1,500 QR code scans and calls to the screening hotline.

Information at the point of care

ALCSI also works with hospitals, clinics, and health officials to put screening flyers and messages in patient waiting rooms. These materials make it easier for patients and clinicians to begin a conversation about low-dose CT screening.
