Defining moments of 2025
Breathe Deep TOGETHER Walks
In partnership with LUNGevity, more than 50 ALCSI chapters hosted Breathe Deep TOGETHER walks in 2025, bringing together 1,125+ attendees and raising $6,000 for lung cancer research.
Legislative Progress
ALCSI continued working with the U.S. Senate to pass annual resolutions recognizing the importance of lung cancer screening, building on efforts that began in 2020.
INSPIRE Study Support
Our chapters helped recruit participants for the INSPIRE study, providing free lung cancer screening to Black men and women aged 50–80 in Boston and Chicago.
Stories That Connect Us
The ALCSI Podcast shared conversations with lung cancer survivors, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and advocates, bringing lived experience into screening education.
Innovation Challenge Launch
ALCSI launched the Lung Cancer Innovation Challenge to drive creative solutions for improving screening access and outcomes nationwide.
Chapter Expansion
The report describes 135+ college chapters, including 85 new chapters established during the year, and an all-volunteer team of more than 1,000 students and physicians.
