Dusty's CATskan Van Journey

A mobile awareness vehicle bringing the lung cancer screening message to communities across America, one stop at a time.

Screening Awareness on Wheels

In 2025, lung cancer survivor, LiveLung founder, and ALCSI mentor Dusty Donaldson planned a cross-country CATSkan Van journey to honor 20 years since her lung cancer diagnosis. ALCSI chapters joined her along the way.

Her planned journey covered more than 12,000 miles and 45 stops across America. At ALCSI stops, students welcomed Dusty, learned from her experiences as a patient and advocate, and supported her work to increase lung cancer screening awareness.
