ALCSI is raising money to support our efforts to increase awareness for lung cancer and lung cancer screening. As a team of 500 students and doctors, we are an all-volunteer organization working with communities, healthcare providers, health departments, and Congress to increase awareness for lung cancer and lung cancer screening, and ultimately, to save lives. Lung cancer is the deadliest cancer in the U.S. and the world, and in 2024, it is estimated that more than 125,000 Americans will die from lung cancer. If every high-risk individual were to get screened for lung cancer right now, it is estimated that 30,000-60,000 lives would be saved. However, only 4.5% of high-risk individuals are currently getting screened.

 

To increase the screening rate and save lives, we need to raise widespread awareness for lung cancer and lung cancer screening. All donations to our organization will be used to help raise awareness for lung cancer and lung cancer screening, and assist high-risk individuals to get screened.

Lung cancer is the deadliest cancer in the world, but it does not have to be. Please help us raise awareness for lung cancer screening; it saves lives!
