Priyanka encourages anyone in the community to partake and to talk to their doctor about lung cancer screening if they think they may be at high risk for lung cancer.

In this press release, LUNGevity highlights its collaboration with ALCSI on Breathe Deep TOGETHER for November 2024 Lung Cancer Awareness Month. All ALCSI chapters across the nation are participating in the Breathe Deep TOGETHER campaign by organizing runs, walks, or events that will bring lung cancer survivors, families, advocates, and the general community together to support lung cancer screening, treatment, and research.

Specifically, they talked about how they are working towards bridging gaps in lung cancer screening with the INSPIRE Study, a clinical study that aims to increase screening in African American women.
